There are various types of chokeholds, including the rear naked choke, guillotine choke, and triangle choke, each of which involves using the arms and/or legs to apply pressure to the opponent's neck. The goal of the chokehold is to render the opponent unconscious or to create enough discomfort to force them to tap out, signaling their submission. It is a highly effective and strategic technique used by skilled grapplers in MMA competitions. **

When someone becomes unconscious from a chokehold, it means that the blood flow to their brain has been restricted for a significant amount of time, leading to a loss of consciousness. This can be extremely dangerous and potentially life-threatening, as it can result in brain damage or even death if the blood flow is not restored quickly. It is important to seek immediate medical attention for anyone who has lost consciousness from a chokehold in order to ensure their safety and well-being. **

If someone has you in a chokehold, it is important to stay calm and try to remain in control of the situation. First, try to protect your airway by tucking your chin and creating space between your neck and the attacker's arm. Then, use your hands to try to pry the attacker's arm away from your neck or strike vulnerable areas such as the eyes, nose, or groin. If possible, try to escape by using leverage or finding an opportunity to counterattack. It is important to seek help and report the incident to the authorities as soon as possible. **
